Turning Communication into Transformation - My Story
We often have two choices in life:
Travel in a tunnel that has light but gets darker every day (the rat race)
or
Travel in a tunnel that is dark but gets brighter every day (a life of passion)
I began my career as a marketer, learning how messages move minds and markets. Strategy fascinated me — how words could influence decisions and shape perceptions. But I also saw how communication, when stripped of authenticity, lost its power. It sold, but didn’t serve.
Curiosity led me next to the classroom, where I became a professor. Teaching made me pause and translate experience into insight. I discovered that influence wasn’t about persuasion — it was about resonance. When students connected emotionally, learning became lasting.
The next turn was towards storytelling — my bridge between intellect and emotion. Through writing, blogging, and keynote speaking, I began exploring stories not as entertainment, but as a strategy for meaning-making. Stories could simplify complexity, humanize leadership, and inspire change.
That exploration evolved into my work as a coach-strategist, helping leaders and board directors communicate with credibility, empathy, and strategic intent. I don’t just help them tell better stories — I help them live them. Every leader carries a narrative that can inspire trust, drive culture, and strengthen governance. My role is to surface that narrative and align it with purpose and impact.
At the heart of my work is a simple conviction:
